Casio Pro Trek PRW-3000

I used and abused it almost daily since 2013. It is still as good as new except for scratches on the bezel, of course. It works perfectly. The bracelet is of high quality and did not even begin to wear off.

If I have to choose one gadget to bring on a desert island, it would be this watch. It has a lot of functionalities, but that doesn’t matter much. What matters is:

  • There is no battery to replace; PRW-3000 is solar-powered. The power meter had dropped only once from “High” to “Medium” in 7 years. It refilled quickly over a few hours in the daylight.
  • It sets the time on its own. The watch has a radio-receiver and synchronizes itself with atomic clocks around the world. It is always accurate.
  • PRW-3000 is robust. Diving, motorcycling, working in the garage, wearing it every day — nothing can break it.
  • It is much smaller than similar models. Not bulky and „sporty“. I wear it to work when…
